The Shocknife
Capitol Risk is one of the first, if not THE first, personal security training company to use the unique SHOCKNIFE training device in the UK.
The Shocknife is a patented training aid that delivers a mild electric shock when it makes contact with a body simulating a cut from an edged weapon. It induces fear in the defender in that the defender will not wish any contact with the blade and do everything they can to avoid this contact, this is a new concept in knife defence training as previously rubber training knives did not produce the same fear response, trainees would regularly catch the blade of the training knife or take several cuts and not even realise it. With the Shocknife this does not happen!
